Coventry University, Second Project

Fresh thinking about ways of teaching and learning is central to the design of the £60m Faculty of Engineering and Computing in both the building and furniture design.
The faculty consists of two linked L-shaped blocks, representing science and nature. Classrooms are located on the first and second floors of the six-storey north (science) building, while the two-storey south/nature building, with its green roof, houses three lecture theatres.

J&R Wins College Fit-Out

The development will provide a range of fully inclusive community facilities including a Learning Disability Resources Centre, a Sure Start children\'s centre, an adult learning centre and an information advice and guidance facility with cafeteria.
Main Contractor, Galliford Try, began work on site in May 2009 and the new college is scheduled to open for students after the Autumn half-term break, in November 2010.
